MEN'S / WOMEN'S

Finding the right size is easy. If you want to buy a garment that covers the upper part of your body, you need to check your measurements in the TOP T-SHIRTS table. If you are interested in trousers, jeans or Bermuda shorts, you need to follow the PANTS tables. Depending on the garment you want to buy, you need to measure different measurements directly on your body. If the measurements do not correspond exactly to any of the sizes in the table, we recommend that you choose a size slightly larger in any case to have more freedom of movement.

Note:

  • The manufacturing tolerance range for size dimensions can be +/- 3%.
  • Cotton garments may naturally shrink by up to 5% after washing, even if washed correctly according to the instructions on the inner label.

CHILDLIKE

We have prepared a summary table to help you determine the correct size for children's products. The recommendations are the same as for adults: if your measurements do not exactly match any of the sizes in the table, we recommend that you choose a size slightly larger to allow for greater freedom of movement.

GLOVE

There are two important dimensions for gloves:
- the circumference of the palm of the hand measured using a tailor's tape measure;
- hand length measured from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist.

HEADWEAR

The head circumference is measured with a tape measure placed approximately 2.5 cm above the eyebrows and 1 cm above the ears. For the correct selection, it is always advisable to round to whole centimeters. One-size adjustable products are suitable for a wide range of sizes (see table).

For British and American sizes, the diameter of the headgear is given in inches with a slight deviation.

FOOTWEAR

EUR refers to the French size system. The French system is graduated in 2/3 cm increments, i.e. a form approximately 280 mm long equals 28 cm and corresponds to a EUR size of 42 (28x3=84 / 84:2=42).

The UK English system is based on precise arithmetically ascending numbers. One English number corresponds to 1 barleycorn (1/3 inch), the adult size system starts with the value 0, which conventionally corresponds to 25 barleycorns (8 + 1/3 inches), soe if the shoe form is 280 mm long, i.e. roughly “11 in”, it corresponds to a UK size 8 (11x3=33 / 33-25=8).

The US MAN size is based on the American system of other arithmetically ascending numbers. The American numbering, like the English, corresponds to 1/3 of an inch, but the American size system starts with an initial value that conventionally corresponds to 8 + 7/12 inches, so for the same length of the form, the American size value is slightly higher than the English size (usually 0.5 more).

US WOMAN size is conventionally one size larger than US MAN size.
The Mondopoint system defined by ISO 9407:2019 describes the basic characteristics of a footwear measurement system based on the length and width of the foot in mm. For the length, the value is approximately 10 mm less than the length of the mold for each size.
